We offer soup kitchen opportunities in Brooklyn and Lower Manhattan for kids as young as 6 to set and decorate tables for lunch service; and for older kids to help serve, clear, clean up, and interact with guests.
Food pantries play a vital role in feeding hungry New Yorkers. We've teamed up with Recovery House of Worship where our volunteers of children aged 7+ along with their parents help prepare and distribute bags of food. .
Volunteers of families with children 8+ help sorting through the donations that have come in during the week, prepare the clothing room for service, and distribute clothes to guests.
We are looking for a few great volunteers to
help us build NYFGB to its fullest potential.
